Reading at Yonder 7/16 and Radio Interview

I'm looking forward to reading at Yonder in Hillsborough at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 16. I'm going to be reading with a crop of writers who I, for the most part, haven't met before. Eryk Pruitt and S.A. Cosby are the exceptions. Eryk owns the bar. I first connected with S.A. at NCSU after he judged the fiction contest there and we had drinks at the Aloft Hotel afterward. It will be nice to hear what he's been working on and share a bit from RAPTURE READY, the book I earned representation for in December of last year and have been editing with my agent since. I did my first radio interview this morning in the lead up to the reading. It can be found here. One thing I left out during the interview was that Katy Munger was the one that suggested I attend the reading at McIntyre's where I met Eryk who invited me to participate in my first Noir at the Bar. I'm sort of split about what to read at this one because I've been working on something new this summer, and think it could be fun to read too. But, for the bit, I'll read the book that will hopefully hit shelves soon. Hope to see you there!
